Duct Tape Wallet with Card Slots

Instructions
For Card Slots:
Make two sheets using five pieces of tape 7 1/2 inches long.  You can see how to make a Duct Tape Sheet Here.

Cut both sheets in half so you end up with four pieces about 3 3/4 inches wide.

Fold the pieces off centered so there is a 1/4 inch overlap on the edge.

Stack two folded pieces on top of one another.  Leave a 1/4 inch overlap between the folded sheets.

Flip the two pieces over and tape them together. Use a one inch wide strip of tape running the length of the pieces.

Flip the pieces back over and spread them apart.  Tape them together with a one inch wide strip down the middle.

This is one set of card slots. Repeat for second set.

For Wallet:
Cut Duct Tape Sheet to 8 1/4 inches by 6 3/4 inches.

Fold sheet almost in half leaving about a 1/4 inch overlap.

Lay one set of card slots on the wallet lining them up with the lower left hand corner and bottom of the wallet.

Cut a four inch piece of tape and then cut it in half lengthwise to make two strips.

Lay a strip on the wallet edge and press the tape to seal the card slots to wallet.

Turn the wallet over and cut the exposed tape strip at the two points marked in the photo.

Fold the top of the cut strip into bill slot and the bottom onto the inside of the wallet  

Fold the remaining strip over onto the back of wallet.

Fold the top cut strip into the bill slot and the bottom onto the inside of the wallet.

Repeat for the right hand side.


Cut a four inch piece of tape and lay it down the center of the wallet so it covers both of the sets of card slots.

Fold the top over and into bill slot.

Fold the bottom over and onto the back of the wallet.

Cut a 9 1/2 inch piece of tape and lay it across the bottom of the wallet.

Turn the wallet over and cut at the point marked in photo. 

Fold the cut strip onto wallet.  Repeat for the other side.

Fold the strip onto the back of the wallet.

Turn the wallet over and fold the pieces onto the inside of the wallet.

Cut the tape that has sealed the card slots shut.

Your wallet is ready to use!
