Clothespin Race Car

This is a simple but fun craft to make and is perfect for younger campers. 



Tools
Ruler
Scissors
Wire Cutter

Materials
Clothespin
Buttons - 4
Clothespin
Drinking straw
Glue (Aleene's Fast Grab Tacky Glue) or Hot Glue
Wire

Instructions
Cut the straw into 2 one inch pieces.

Cut the wire into 2 three inch pieces.

Thread a piece of wire through each straw piece.

Thread the ends of the wire through the button holes. 

Twist the wire around itself. 

These are the car axles.

Glue one of the car axles to the front of the clothes pin.

Slide the second axle up next to the spring of the clothespin and glue in place.

Set aside and allow the glue to dry.
When the glue is dry, the car is ready to race.
