Sponge Ball

A fun alternative to water balloons.

Materials
Cotton Yarn
Sponges

Instructions
Cut the sponges in half lengthwise.

Cut the sponges again in half lengthwise.  Each sponge makes four strips.

Take eight sponge strips and cinch tight with the cotton yarn.  I used a 12 inch piece of yarn and wrapped the sponge strips three times tightly.

Trim the cotton yarn near the knot.  Shape the sponge strips into a ball.

All you need now is to add water.  To clean sponges machine wash and air dry.
