Origami: How to Fold a Sonobe Unit

Materials
Paper Squares - 3 Inch

Instructions
Fold the paper in half.

Open the folded paper.

Fold the edges toward the center crease.

Open the folded paper.

Fold one corner towards the outer crease. 

Turn the paper and fold the opposite corner towards the outer crease.

 Refold the paper on the creased lines.

 Fold the paper diagonally towards the outer edge.

 Open the outer fold and tuck the diagonal folded corner under the edge.

 Repeat the diagonal fold on the opposite side.

 Gently lift the paper and slip the diagonal folded corner under the edge.

This is what the folded paper should look like now.

Turn the paper over.

Fold the bottom point up toward the lower corner.

 Turn the paper and fold the bottom point up torwards the corner making a square.

 Fold the square in half diagonally making a triangle.

 This is a single Sonobe Unit for Modular Origami.
