How to do Whipping

Lay the string or twine on the rope and make a loop.

Start wrapping the string or twine around the rope, making sure to cover the loop.

Continue wrapping the string or twine around the rope.

Thread the string or twine through the loop.

Pull on the loose end until the loop is pulled under the wrapped whipping.

Cut off the excess string or twine on both ends.
